Rappahannock Historical Society
The society is committed to serving Rappahannock County's residents and visitors as an educational institution that promotes knowledge of the past for a better understanding of the future.
Our features include a research room and library, a second-floor museum exhibiting local artifacts including items on loan from the Shenandoah National Park, and a climate-controlled ground floor that houses special materials and newspaper archives. Rappahannock historical maps, memorabilia and prints available.

Scrabble School Preservation Foundation Inc.
Mission: To educate and inform the Rappahannock County and Virginia public about the African-American history of education in post-Civil War Virginia and the South. Currently working on the preservation of the Scrabble School.
